Shelli Bowler
Nature Within Canvas, Murals , Rocks And More
Nature Painter

Biography

Hello my name is Shelli. Ever since I was very young I had a desire to draw and paint. My Grandmother Mimi inspired me through her love for art and nature. She used nature to teach me patience, beauty, instinct, value and individual worth. My Mother also drew very well and would have drawings hung around the house. This helped me to have a goal in mind of what I wanted to achieve. My parents always encouraged me to draw and paint providing tools that were needed to keep my desire alive. Little water color books that you only had to add water to (those were my favorite), charcoal pencils, drawing books, etcher sketch, lots and lots of sketch books and scrap paper. I drew all the time almost every day. I was raised in Port Angeles, Washington.. right next to Forks. Lots and lots and lots, of rain. I stayed in a lot painting and creating, but when the rained cleared, I would venture out into the thick mossy forests and explore all day until I was hungry or tired. I was a huge day dreamer as well. I love to paint. When inspired I like to act on it right away. I have children who help me with ideas and critiques ( they are straight forward). They also have been found drawing on the walls in my house since they see that it's o.k. for mom to do so when painting murals. I try to find a balance with caring now for my family and bridling my strong desire to create. They come first and I don't want to loose that focus though at times it is very challenging. Hope you have fun reading my novel and I hope you enjoy browsing in my shop for the perfect gift! Thank you for stopping by and feel free to contact me with any questions or requests you may have. Thank you again.
